Kala Chana - Black Garbanzo Salad

Ingredients: 
  • 2 to 3 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4th cup red onion, finely diced
  • 3/4 cup kala channa soaked for 4 hours or more and boiled in a cup of waer and 1/4 tsp. of salt till soft.  Drain or cook the water out.
  • 1 Green chili, finely chopped
  • 20 sprigs of cilantro leaves minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 3/4th teaspoon or to taste of Ajika Chaat Masala
  • 3 teaspoon lemon juice
Method:
  • Toss the tomatoes, boiled kala channa and onion together.
  • Add the green chili, coriander leaves, sugar, chat masala, lemon juice and mix well.
  • Serve chilled.
Serves as a great snack or salad.
