Paneer Payesh

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup chhena (paneer), made from skimmed cow's milk
  • 1 litre (5 cups) skimmed milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 5-6 almonds chopped
  • 7-8 pistachios chopped
Method:
  • Boil milk,lower heat and simmer till reduced to half the original quantity.
  • Add sugar and cook till it dissolves.
  • Mash chhena in a bowl. Add it to the milk. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts and serve cold.
