Ingredients:
- Beetroot- 3 cooked& mashed
- Potatoes- 3 boiled & mashed)
- Onions- 2 chopped
- Garlic, Ginger & Green chili paste- 2 tsp
- Red chili powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
- Bread soaked in milk - 1
- Salt
- Bread crumbs- 1/2 Cup
- Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, put ginger, garlic, chili paste and fry for few minutes.
- Then add onions fry until golden.
- Add mashed potatoes & beetroot and mix well.
- Then put all the powders & salt.
- Mix well and saute for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Add 1/4 cup of bread soaked in very little milk to this veg mixture and mix.
- Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture.
- coat with rusk powder.
- Flatten this into thin patties.
- Heat oil in a shallow frying pan and fry the cutlets.
