Beetroot Cutlet

Ingredients:
  • Beetroot- 3 cooked& mashed 
  • Potatoes- 3 boiled & mashed) 
  • Onions- 2 chopped 
  • Garlic, Ginger & Green chili paste- 2 tsp 
  • Red chili powder- 1 tsp 
  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp 
  • Bread soaked in milk - 1 
  • Salt 
  • Bread crumbs- 1/2 Cup 
  • Oil 
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, put ginger, garlic, chili paste and fry for few minutes.
  • Then add onions fry until golden.
  • Add mashed potatoes & beetroot and mix well.
  • Then put all the powders & salt.
  • Mix well and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • Add 1/4 cup of bread soaked in very little milk to this veg mixture and mix.
  • Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture.
  • coat with rusk powder.
  • Flatten this into thin patties.
  • Heat oil in a shallow frying pan and fry the cutlets.
