Ingredients:
- Rice Ravva -- 1 Cup
- Onion -- 1 medium sized
- Cumin Seeds -- 1 tbsp
- Green Chilli -- 5
- Ginger -- 1 inch
- Black gram -- 2 tbsp
- Bengal Gram -- 3 tbsp
- Green Gram -- 2 tbsp
- Mustard -- 2 tbsp
- Curry Leaves -- few
- Water -- 3 Cups
- Salt -- as per required
- Heat a vessel,fry the rice ravva for some time.
- Remove ravva from vessel and keep it aside.
- Now pour oil into the vessel,add all the ingredients except water and ravva. Fry them for 2 min.
- Now add water and salt to it. Let water boils. Here check the taste of the water, so that you can add some salt.
- Now slowly pour ravva into the vessel by stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
- Let it cook for 2 min on a high flame.
- Now simmer the flame and cook till done.
- Swich off the stove,cover the lid and wait for 5 min.
- Now the upma is done. Serve hot.
